How it works

You glance. You know. Nobody else notices.

The time sits on a screen, large and still, and says nothing. No chime, no buzz, no notification sliding across the top. You look when you want to know, and the room carries on without you.

Readable across a room

The time is the only loud thing on the screen. Set how large it sits and how heavy it reads, and it stays legible from the doorway without lighting the room up.

No flashing. No strobing. Nothing that moves suddenly.

Session presets

Save the sessions you run every week and open them in one tap. A change you make mid-session stays in that session — your saved preset is only rewritten when you say so.

Four ways to show it

Numbers for a desk. Minimal when the time is all you want. Progress when the shape of the session helps. Room when the screen is across the studio and you are reading it at a glance.

Low light

A palette with no white in it, for treatment rooms with the lamps down. Warm, dim, and readable without lighting up a face.

Timing you can trust

SILNS counts against the clock, not against a loop that a background tab can throttle. Switch apps, lock the phone, let the laptop sleep, reload the page: the time you come back to is the right one.

If the wifi drops mid-session, the timer does not notice.

Quiet by default

Sound is off. Haptics are off. Both are there for the end of a session if you want them — a soft tone, a short buzz in a pocket — and neither turns itself on. SILNS will never surprise a room with an alarm.

Presets

The sessions you already run.

Remote display

Any spare screen can become your SILNS display.

Open SILNS on the iPad on the shelf. It shows a code. Type that code into your phone, and the two screens are running the same session.

No sign-in on the screen

The spare screen never touches your account. It receives the session and nothing else — not your email, not your other presets, not your purchase.

Your phone stays the control

Pause, add five minutes, or end the session from your pocket. The display follows without you walking over to it.

It keeps time on its own

Both screens count locally. If the connection drops, the display carries on with the correct time and catches up when it returns.

Where it runs

Use SILNS on virtually any modern browser.

Nothing to install, though you can add it to a home screen if you want it to open like an app.

  • Phones
  • iPads
  • Android tablets
  • Laptops
  • Desktops
  • Chromebooks
  • Projector-connected computers
  • Many smart TV browsers

Smart TV browsers vary a great deal, so SILNS does not promise to work on every television. If a TV has a modern browser, it will generally work as a display.

Questions

Before you buy.

Is this really a one-time payment?

Yes. $4.99, once. There is no monthly fee, no annual fee, no renewal and no trial that turns into a charge. Your account owns SILNS permanently.

What happens on a new device?

Sign in with the same Google account and SILNS unlocks immediately, with your presets and preferences already there. You are never asked to pay twice.

Does it work without internet?

Once SILNS is open, yes. The timer runs entirely on your device. A connection is used for signing in, saving presets and syncing preferences — not for keeping time.

Will it make a sound?

Not unless you switch sound on yourself. It is off by default, and even then it is a soft tone rather than an alarm.

What do you collect about my sessions?

Nothing about what happens in them. SILNS stores your email, your presets and your preferences. It has no field for a client name, a note, or anything about the person on the table — because it does not need one.

Can I delete my account?

Yes, from the account screen, and it removes your profile, presets and settings for good. Payment records are kept where the law requires, with your account details removed from them.
